Always been a big fan of Disney Animation until I saw HOME ON THE RANGE. I wanted to shake my fist at Disney and say who in the hell thought a yodeling cowboy as the villain would be a good idea? After this huge error Disney Animation pretty much closed up shop. Then the rumors started to swirl the Princess and The Frog would be the next movie. Then the story was leaked that this movie would feature the first African American princess. I thought well it’s about time. I then saw great teaser footage at Comic Con and the D23 Expo and went damn I am sold. I then decided to go see it.

I went into this movie a bit worried since I heard it was a bleak look into the world after the apocalypse. Great movie choice for the holidays huh? Thanks …Taylor.

Hi All! Doctor Poo here with a little reminder for Christmas Day. Lucky viewers in the U.K. will be able to see Doctor Who: The End of Time, Part 1 on Christmas Day on BBC 1. Us stateside viewers must wait until December 26th on BBC America. I’m sure internet savvy folks would be able to find it earlier. I think you all know what I’ll be doing shortly after presents have been opened and food is devoured!
The End of Time is the first part of the 10th Doctor’s final adventure. Sniff. Sniff. Man, I really don’t want David Tennant to leave, but I guess all good things must come to an end. I will be sure to keep a box of tissues on hand.
Beware! Spoiler pic ahead!

Captian Eo is coming back to Disneyland. This was part of the buzz that started after Jackson’s death in June. This rumor was going strong and was expected to be announced at the D23 Disney Expo in September but Disney kept denying it was going to happen. Several sites have all added fuel to this rumor as well. Well it has officially been announced to start rocking Tomorrowland in February. The “This Is It” concert film has supposedly been the reason that Disney has decided to bring it back as an limited engagement at Disneyland. I have a feeling this may be around for awhile since I am sure attendance will have a huge spike.
The 17-minute 3-D movie tells the story of Captain EO given the task to bring music to a queen in a sad gloomy planet. EO’s crew included the flying ball of fluff Fuzzbucket, security officer Major Domo and shipmate Hooter. Jackson’s EO used music, best known is the original song “We Are Here to Change the World” used to defeat Anjelica Huston as the Supreme Leader.
Captain EO opened with lots of fanfare in Disneyland’s Magic Eye Theater in 1986 and ran for more than a decade, closing suddenly due to bad press on Jackson in 1997. Captain EO in other Disney Parks closed the year after in 1998.

This is interesting Apollo Management is looking to aquire Cedar Fair for about $650 million. Eleven Theme Parks including Knott’s, Cedar Point, Dorney Park and King’s Island would be part of this deal.
I am not sure what the possible outcome on this could be. How it could possibly affect Halloween Haunt at Knott’s Berry Farm is of course my biggest concern. I wonder if the theme parks would be possibly split up. Also I wonder if for example if Knott’s Berry Farm would receive attractions from other parks should they be closed. It will be interesting to see what will happen.

Roy Edward Disney, the nephew of Walt Disney who locked horns with the Disney Company that led to the unseating of two of the company’s chief executives. Best know of course was Michael Eisner after Disney’s successful involvement in the SaveDisney.com campaign and a revival of the studio’s legendary animation unit, died today. He was 79. Roy E. Disney was best known for having a striking resemblance to his uncle Walt Disney.
Roy E. Disney, who had been battling stomach cancer, died at Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian in Newport Beach, according to Clifford A. Miller, a spokesman for Disney’s company Shamrock Holdings. His death occurred 43 years and one day after Walt Disney died, also from cancer. In addition, he died exactly 12 years after his aunt, Lillian Bounds Disney.
