It’s funny to think that Harry Potter would be 30 today according to the date given in the first book, July 31, 1980. It is fun as well to see how the cast has grown up in the films. Check out the official site for the upcoming finale of the films which will be split in two. Get ready to break out the brooms and butterbeer. It’s going to be awesome!

Harry Potter Day at Disneyland - Sunday, November 8th

It began as a fluke and has been growing ever since. Organized by the North Orange County Harry Potter Meetup Group, Harry Potter Day at Disneyland is an annual (unofficial) event that brings together Wizards, Witches, Warlocks, Wrockers, Death Eaters and all manner of Potterheads for a day of mirth and mischief at the Magic Kingdom.Book your portkey for Sunday, November 8th. We’ll be partying all day and well into the night.

The central activity of the day has always been our Coin Quest Scavenger Hunt, which will test your knowledge of Potter trivia. The Coin Quest will run from 12 noon until 7pm. Be sure to read the full rules and details.

Even if you don’t participate in the Coin Quest, the day itself serves as a great way to meet and mingle with friends both old and new. Be sure to meet us at the Carnation Plaza Pavilion by 11am. We’ll meet at the same place again at 7pm to determine and reveal the results of the Coin Quest, possibly go for a group ride, and top off the evening with a nightcap at the Hearthstone Lounge.
